ABOUT
Ellie is a freelance makeup artist and hair & makeup trainee for film & TV. She is currently based in London, with bases in Manchester and Liverpool. She is available for work and willing to travel. She has experience as an artist across editorial, short film, music video, events and special occasions, and as a HMU trainee for film & TV productions.
Ellie gained her first main team feature credits as a hair & makeup trainee on Andrea Arnold's Bird, and Phil Hawkin's Robin and the Hoods, both released in 2024. She is currently trainee on season 2 of Channel 4's Big Mood. She also has experience working as a crowd hair & makeup trainee.
Ellie recently completed training in film & TV hair and makeup at Christine Blundell Makeup Academy, which she attended with the support of the BAFTA scholarship. She previously studied Fashion, Theatre and Media Hair & Makeup at Ella Creative Academy in Liverpool, and has trained at London School of Barbering. Before this she completed a degree in Cinema & Photography at University of Leeds and studied Film Production at York University in Toronto.
